About Cheryl Skirving Mills
Consulting with Purpose

From a young age, I knew I wanted a career dedicated to making a meaningful difference in people’s lives. That passion led me to build a lifelong career in developmental services, community support, and client-centered care across Ontario.

I am Cheryl Skirving Mills, BA, RSSW, CYC—a registered Social Service Worker in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, and a professional member of the Child and Youth Worker Association of Ontario. Since 1998, I have supported individuals and families in both public and private sectors, working across developmental services, residential care, respite, and community-based programs.

I graduated from the Human Services Counsellor program at George Brown College and later earned my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. I am currently completing my Canadian Certified Life Care Planner (CCLCP) designation through the Institute of Rehabilitation and Educational Training, further strengthening my ability to support long-term planning for individuals with complex needs.

My work is grounded in person-directed planning, with a strong focus on inclusion, independence, and meaningful outcomes. I am known for being adaptable, ethical, and solution-focused—ensuring that every individual and family receives support that is responsive, respectful, and effective.
